WHITE NOISE
We live in a world that never turns off. Phones, schedules, social media, anxiety, the opinions of everyone around us…and they all compete for the space where God’s voice is supposed to live. The problem isn’t that God has stopped speaking, the problem is that we’ve filled every quiet moment with something louder. In this three-week series, we follow the prophet Elijah through burnout, withdrawal, and encounter with God. This series isn’t about doing more to hear from God, it’s about doing less so we can hear His voice. There is so much more beneath the noise.

New Life Church is a Wesleyan church in the heart of Wayland, Michigan, founded in 2011. Our mission is to see zero people living unchanged by Jesus — a vision we filter everything through, expressed in five ZEROs: zero needs among us, zero lost people, zero unconnected people, zero gods before God, and zero unfulfilled callings.

Our worship services typically run for 60-70 minutes. Arrive about 10 minutes early to find a parking spot, get your kids checked in, and grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee! Expect a welcoming environment, engaging worship, and a message that applies to everyday life. Someone will be available to help you find your way around in our “Get Connected” area!

We are a “come as you are” church. Whether you show up in a hoodie and jeans or you prefer to dress up a little, you’ll find yourself in good company either way!

New Life Kids runs during both the 9:45 and 11:15AM services for infants through 5th grade, using our own in-house curriculum so kids and parents are working through the same biblical truths each week. Middle and high school students meet Sunday evenings at 6:30pm.

We do! BELONG is New Life’s accessibility ministry, created to help every person and family experience meaningful belonging in the life of our church. We provide thoughtful support, accessible environments, and individualized care so kids, students, and adults with disabilities can participate, grow, and encounter Jesus. Our heart is simple: every person is seen, valued, and has a place to belong.
